E.B. WhiteHis full name was Elwyn Brooks "E.B." White. He was born in Mount Vernon, New York to a well off family. White served in the United States Army before he attended college at Cornell. In 1929 he married Angell, they had a son named Joel White.
E.B. White's writing career was slow at first, writing, Stuart Little, in 1945, which received sub par reviews. Then his next big novel was, Charlotte's Web, and after this was published he started on, The Trumpet of the Swan. These three novels are his most well know children's books. From these three books E.B White won a few award and honors. |
